By taking this class I would like to better understand why it is that business has so much more power over our governmental institutions then we, the people, do. I would really like to understand how a small group of
financial executives were allowed, with no penalty, to conduct shady business practices which allowed then and their employers to become filthy rich while the public at large was left with a
financial crisis which was almost as bad as the great depression.
